Today happens to be Rakhi, an Indian festival celebrated around the world and as I shared in my previous post, Raksha Bandhan is about celebrating an important relationship. A sister tying a rakhi (sacred thread) on her brother’s wrist. The festival stands for a beautiful relationship shared between brothers and sisters.

A lifelong promise of protection is made on this special occasion, BUT I feel it’s not only a “Knot of Protection” but a lot more which every sister should share and take a pledge from her brother.
