Constipation may be a common problem in kids, but the best way to deal with it is by treating it with general home remedies! Constipation is often a reason which causes this discomfort in children. The most common reason for constipation to occur is often either behavioural or diet-related or organic disorder such as cystic fibrosis, metabolic or thyroid disease, diabetes, etc. Painful bowel movements causing abdominal pain, hard stools with blood stains, vomiting, weight loss etc., are some of the common signs seen in the child suffering from constipation. Home remedies for constipation in kids:
1. High-fiber diet
A change in the diet for a few days might heal the constipation problem. Add a lot of fresh fibrous vegetables and fruits to the diet of the child. Rich fiber content cereals along with lentils and legumes can also be given to the child. This will regulate and smoothen the process of digestion with the easy flow of the stools.
Curd is a perfect probiotic which can be added to the regular diet of the child. A daily intake of a small portion of the curd can avoid the problems of constipation.
3. Intake of fluids
A definite considerable amount of intake of water is a must. Above this, it is necessary, for the child to consume lots of liquids such as juice and soups to normalize the course of digestion. With a high consumption of fiber rich foods, drinking lots of fluids is vital. Keep your infant hydrated.
4. Set pattern for toilet
Ensure a regular pattern for toilet is established for the kid. Encourage the child to finish the toilet activities as the first task of the day. Make it a routine in their lifestyle. 5. Formula feed

Sometimes, the real world mothers, mix a teaspoon of olive oil and lemon juice with two spoons of water and feed the child in the early morning in empty stomach. More than healthy and tasty for palate, olive oil helps to relax the muscles and relieve the constipation.

7. Remove processed foods
Stop feeding processed foods for the baby. Even sugary substances must be stopped when the child is suffering from constipation.
