Well! Here are 4 food items that are super-healthy but to be avoided at any cost during pregnancy!

1. Papaya:

This wonderful fruit should be avoided at any cost. It contains a latex substance which is rich in enzyme Papain that may cause contractions of the uterus.

2. Pineapple:

This tropical fruit has Bromelain (known to slow blood clotting) which can cause softening of the cervix leading to an immature labor.

3. Certain Fish Variety:

Some seafood has too much mercury content which hampers the developing nervous system of a baby. Just remember that a big-sized fish will have more mercury. Therefore, it is advised to avoid Shellfish, Shark, Swordfish, Tilefish and King Mackerel at any cost.

4. Herbal Tea:

Please avoid it during pregnancy. Herbal leaves can have an impact on baby’s development.
