Did you know about these disgusting things that no one ever told me about delivering a baby? I bet not!
So, you are expecting? Wow! Congratulations! I can almost feel your baby kick! Motherhood is a wonderful experience; so is pregnancy. I know most of you would like to hear amazing things about motherhood. You will do a great job, parenthood is a valid choice, life will change when you will hold the baby for the first time, etc. Yes, life changes but how? When I was pregnant with my first one, all I could be was feel emotional and super excited. However, once the water broke and when I reached the hospital – life changed! At that moment and from then on I’d promised myself that I will never ask for sugar-coated-lies.
That very moment I wished my mum and her mum and my mum-in-law and all the friends who have had their babies could tell me the truth about delivering a baby! Why they didn’t tell me that is all I could think in the labor room.
Umm where’s the description explaining the title?
So true! They also never told me that I was going to be sore for months down there or that it would hurt to walk for a week or two. Great post!
Thanks Lisa for sharing your own experience. I also wanted to talk about mucous plug and stuff. Well! Guess this post should run in series 🙂
