Aretto Shoes Review: Why My Son Has Worn Them Since Age 3

Finding the right shoes for a little one is harder than it sounds. Their feet grow fast, they run everywhere, and most of us Indian parents have tried the “buy one size bigger” trick at least once. When my son turned three, I bought his first pair of Aretto shoes. He has refused to wear anything else since.
What Are Aretto Shoes?
Aretto is a Pune-based kids’ footwear brand that designs shoes to grow with your child’s feet. Their shoes stretch up to three sizes, thanks to a flexible knit upper, a sole with grooves that open up as the foot grows, and a soft memory foam insole. They are also podiatrist-approved, which matters a lot when your child is on their feet all day.
Why My Son Loves Them
1. All-day comfort
School, the park, birthday parties, he wears them everywhere. I have never heard a single complaint about sore feet or tight shoes.
2. Truly flexible
The shoe bends easily with his foot, so he can run, jump and climb freely. It feels closer to being barefoot than to wearing a stiff school shoe.
3. Breathable for Indian weather
The fabric is breathable, which is a big plus in our hot, humid summers.
4. Lasts longer
Because the shoe adapts as his feet grow, we didn’t have to rush back to the store every few months.
Our New Favourite: Aretto Adaptive Fit
A year after our first pair, we got the Aretto Adaptive Fit. It has the same soft, flexible feel he was already used to, and it fits him comfortably as his feet keep growing. He picked it up and wore it out the door the very first day.

Are Aretto Shoes Worth It?
They cost more than regular kids’ shoes. But since one pair lasts through more than one size, you end up buying fewer pairs, and your child gets a better fit along the way. For us, that has made it worth every rupee.
