Lentil Carrot Sweet Potato

This is an easy and healthy recipe for your kids. This is highly recommended when you are introducing solids for the first time

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp Butter Unsalted
  • 1 piece Carrot Peeled and finely chopped/grated
  • 60 g Red lentils
  • 200 g Sweet potato Peeled and chopped
  • 1 Whole bay leaf Optional
  • 450 ml Water

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a medium saucepan and add carrots and lentils.
  • Allow the mixture to boil and then simmer for 30 minutes or more until the lentils are cooked.
  • Remove the bay leaf and serve along with cooked rice. You can also serve it as a lentil puree.
