Apple sauce is packed with iron, Vitamin A, C and minerals such as Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium which are very good for your baby's growth and development.
- 1 Apple steamed and mashed
- 1 Banana optional
- Less than 1/2 cup water
Peel, core and cut an apple into chunks and place them into a pan with just enough water to slightly cover the chunks.
Now boil or steam until tender.To achieve a smooth consistency (which is imperative while feeding baby food at stage 1), mash the boiled apple with a potato masher.
