A Small Letter To My Son

The smallest letter in the history of motherhood. Read on to know what’s there in this small letter to my son. My son will grow up one day. He will start reading at some point. I want him to know what I am feeling for him without even losing a bit of its essence. Let him grow up and know his mother through this letter. I can’t wait for him to grow up now and I will cherish the moment he would lay his hands on the letter for the first time.   I know I need not write more. In a few words, I told him all I wanted to.

A small letter to my son

A small letter to my son:

Dear Son,

I began to love you from the day I felt you in my womb.
Not that I was going through an existential crisis

But, to feel the tiny movement of your little hand or foot,

Now that’s when I felt like I’ve felt life!

The day you were born reinstated my existence.

Tomorrow, even if I cease to exist (for you),

I shall continue to love you,

Just as I did the day I discovered you were in my womb.

With love,

from a Mother xo
