Paneer Lollipops

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese grated
  • ¼ cup Cabbage shredded (optional)
  • cup Carrot finely chopped
  • 2 nos Medium Potato boiled and mashed
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt as per taste
  • Crushed black peppercorns as per taste
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Red chili paste
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • 10-12 nos Breadsticks

For slurry

  • ½ cup Refined flour
  • ½ cup Cornflour
  • Salt as per taste
  • Crushed black peppercorns as per taste

Instructions
 

  • Mix together cottage cheese, cabbage, and carrots in a bowl. Add potatoes and mix well.
  • Add salt, crushed black peppercorns, and ginger-garlic paste. Mix well.
  • Add cornflour and mix. Place on breadsticks and shape to lollipops. Set this aside.
  • Mix together refined flour, salt, crushed black peppercorns, cornflour with some water to form a slurry. Dip the prepared lollipops in it.
  • Heat sufficient oil in a kadai for deep-frying. Deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.

Notes

If you are health conscious, you can bake it instead of frying.

Paneer Cutlet - Paneer Recipe for Kids

Ingredients
  

  • 1 no Potato boiled and mashed
  • ½ Onion finely chopped
  • 1 handful Coriander leaves
  • ½ tsp Chat Masala
  • ½ tsp Oil
  • 1 cup Toasted bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp Ginger finely chopped
  • 300 gm Paneer
  • ½ Capsicum finely chopped
  • ½ Carrot grated
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 Green chillies finely chopped (optional)
  • 4 tbsp Gram flour (besan)
  • ¼ tsp Aamchoor(raw mango powder)
  • Salt as per taste

Instructions
 

  • Dry the paneer by covering it In a cloth for a few minutes.
  • Sauté the veggies in oil, add ginger, onion, carrots, cabbage, capsicum, and green chilies.
  • In a bowl add dry paneer, mashed potato, amchoor (dry mango powder), garam masala chaat masala, cornflour, salt to taste, coriander leaves, and the sautéed veggies.
  • Apply a little bit of cornflour on your palm and shape the cutlets.
  • In a bowl add besan (gram flour), to which add some water and salt.
  • Dip the cutlets into the batter and then into the breadcrumbs and fry them into the oil. Paneer Cutlets are ready to be served!
